We may suspend or terminate accounts for fraud, unauthorised access, credential sharing, intellectual-property infringement, security risks, or material violation of these Terms, subject to applicable law.
3. Product Information and Availability
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, images, authorship information, editions, formats, prices, and availability are accurate. Minor variations in physical printing, cover colour, packaging, or presentation may occur. We may correct errors or update product availability.
4. Pricing, Taxes and Charges
Prices are stated in Indian Rupees unless otherwise specified. The total amount payable, including applicable taxes and delivery charges where relevant, will be shown before order completion. Digital products generally do not involve physical shipping charges. Prices may change prospectively; confirmed orders will ordinarily be honoured at the applicable confirmed price except where an obvious error or other lawful cancellation circumstance applies.
5. Orders and Order Acceptance
Submitting an order constitutes a request to purchase. An automated acknowledgement does not necessarily constitute final acceptance. An order is accepted when we confirm it for fulfilment, subject to availability, payment confirmation, and these Terms.
6. Payment
Payments are processed through payment gateway made available on the website. Customers must provide accurate transaction information. An order or digital entitlement may not be activated until payment is successfully confirmed.
7. Physical Products — Shipping and Delivery
Physical books are prepared and dispatched by Ascentia Publishers and delivered through appropriate courier, postal, or logistics services. Delivery timelines and shipping charges will be communicated on the product page, checkout, or Shipping and Delivery Policy. Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.
8. Digital Products — Access Model
Digital books and educational materials are not shipped as physical goods. After successful payment, access is provided through the customer account used for the purchase, subject to the product’s stated access conditions.
-
Digital content is intended for the personal use of the purchaser unless the product page expressly states otherwise.
-
The customer may read or access the purchased material through the account and supported website/device environment.
-
The purchase does not transfer copyright or ownership of the underlying digital content.
-
Access duration, if limited, will be stated on the product page or at purchase. If no separate access period is stated, access is provided subject to the continued availability of the service and these Terms.
-
We may apply reasonable technical measures to protect digital content from unauthorised copying, redistribution, scraping, or sharing.
-
Account credentials must not be shared with other persons.
-
Digital content must not be reproduced, screen-recorded, copied, redistributed, uploaded, resold, or commercially exploited except as expressly permitted by law or by written permission from the rights holder.
-
Access may be suspended or revoked for fraud, unauthorised sharing, infringement, or material misuse, subject to applicable law.
9. Digital Content Availability and Technical Requirements
Access to digital materials depends on a compatible internet connection, browser/device, account credentials, and the technical environment specified on the product page. Temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, upgrades, security incidents, third-party infrastructure, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
We will make reasonable efforts to restore material service interruptions and address legitimate access problems reported by customers.
10. Bundles and Mixed Orders
Where an order contains both physical and digital products, the physical portion will be subject to shipping and delivery terms while the digital portion will be subject to digital-access terms. The two portions may be fulfilled at different times.
11. Intellectual Property
All books, digital materials, text, images, cover designs, logos, trademarks, website content, software, and related intellectual property are owned by, licensed to, or otherwise lawfully used by Ascentia Publishers, Ascentia Innovations Pvt. Ltd., authors, or other rights holders.
Purchasing a physical or digital product does not transfer copyright. Physical book ownership is limited to the purchased copy. Digital purchase grants access/use rights only as stated for the product.
12. Prohibited Digital Use
-
Sharing account credentials or digital access with others.
-
Uploading digital materials to websites, cloud drives, social-media platforms, messaging groups, or file-sharing services without permission.
-
Creating unauthorised digital copies or reproductions.

Selling, sublicensing, or commercially distributing digital access.
-
Circumventing access controls, DRM, security measures, or technical restrictions.
-
Using automated systems to scrape or extract substantial portions of digital content.
13. Cancellation, Returns and Refunds
Cancellation, return, replacement, and refund rights are governed by the separate Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy. Physical products and digital products may have different treatment because digital access can begin immediately after purchase.
14. Marketing and Communications
Transactional communications may be sent as necessary. Promotional communications may be sent by email, WhatsApp, SMS, or other permitted channels where you have opted in or where otherwise permitted by law. You may opt out of promotional communications.
15. Reviews and User Content
Where reviews or other user content are enabled, submissions must be truthful, lawful, non-defamatory, non-infringing, and free from malicious code. We may moderate or remove content that violates these requirements.
16. Website Availability, Disclaimer and Liability
We aim to keep the website and digital-access service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, indirect or consequential losses may be excluded. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
17. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or service interruptions caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, transportation failures, major internet or infrastructure failures, cyber incidents, payment gateway failures, or other extraordinary events.
